I have seen some true peculiarities in my time: beggars wearing expensive sneakers, bald men getting haircuts in pricey salons, a deaf couple in a disco -- dancing. Until today, none
of these incongruities have involved breastfeeding mothers. I've
seen moms
doing it in restaurants,
on the subway,
even in the privacy of their own homes.
Why not? It's perfectly natural. Today,
for the first time
ever, I
spotted a
woman who was trying to squeeze her nipple into her baby's mouth while seated on a
stoop in front of a
train station on Avenida Sante Fe,
one of the busiest streets in Buenos Aires.
Judging from the baby's scowling and crying, he
wasn't too
happy with what mommy was offering him. Barbara
Walters would not have been amused.

Speaking with a bit of experience, she was likely feeding her 'babe in arm' bc of the screaming and crying. Sometimes it is all you can do to soothe the savage beast...I mean bundle of joy.
